Throughout his career, he has been actively engaged in growth and development of enterprises of all sizes. A native of Bartlesville, Okla., Bates graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Oklahoma, where he was Phi Beta Kappa. He also holds a juris doctor degree from the University of Oklahoma College Of Law. He began his career in the private practice of law in Oklahoma City in 1977, left his firm to join a small independent oil and gas operator and oilfield services company in 1980, and joined ITT Eason Oil Company as General Counsel in 1984. When Sonat Inc. acquired Eason in 1985, Richard joined the Sonat organization where he served in multiple staff and operating roles, ultimately serving on the parent’s top-level Executive Committee while serving as President of Sonat Energy Services. After Sonat’s merger with El Paso, Richard joined Duke Energy Corporation in June 2000 to establish Duke Energy’s corporate development function. During his career with Duke Energy, in addition to his role in mergers and acquisitions, he was intimately involved with Duke’s technology efforts. He retired as Chief Development Officer of Duke Energy in 2014 and joined North Inlet Group as a Managing Director.

Chantal holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Experimental Psychol- ogy, and a PhD in Cognitive/Medical Psychology. She is the kind of psychologist that is interested in normal behavior and function, as opposed to abnormal – the purview of counselors and psychiatrists. Her area of expertise is memory function and memory loss due to brain injury, pharmacological drugs, and normal as well as abnormal aging (dementia). Early in her career, Chantal led randomized controlled trials (RCTs) in academic medical centers. She was faculty at Emory University School of Medicine, and Emory College (Atlanta, GA). In 2010, Dr. Kerssens joined a digital health startup in the business incubator of the Georgia Institute of Technology (ATDC) to validate and commercialize one of the first digital therapeutics for dementia symptom management. She won the company a $1,2MM grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to iteratively develop and validate the product with end- users in preparation of business scaling and market expansion. Today, Chantal helps technology companies develop digital health applications that are evidence-based (scientific) and user- centered (friendly and easy-to-use).

Paul brings over 30 years of sales and marketing experience in enterprise software and healthcare technology. Previously, Paul was managing partner of IMH, Inc. where he helped digital health startups craft their business development plans and implement go-to-market strategies. Prior to IMH, Paul served as Co-Founder & SVP of Sales at SimpleC where he was instrumental in developing, marketing and the implementation of a cloud-based, multimedia therapies program targeting problematic behaviors associated with cognitive loss due to aging and dementia. Prior to SimpleC, Paul spent 20 years working with several of the most innovative early-to- growth stage startups in the US (such as, Ingres - IPO'd, Neuron Data - acquired, WebLogic - acquired by BEA Systems), in regional sales management and channel development roles.

Steve began his career with Southeast Radiation Oncology Group (SERO) in 1983 after distinguishing himself in medical school at the Medical College of Georgia and residency at Wake Forest University School of Medicine (Bowman Gray). During the course of his long career, Steve has touched countless families, hearts, and lives with his dedication to providing compassionate, highest quality care. Over the years, Steve has contributed to several books, journals, presented lectures to upcoming medical students, and researched clinical immunology, immune modulation, hyperfractionation, and the effects of anti-cancer therapy on the immune system. Outside the office, Steve is active in the community, serving on the Boards of Charlotte Christian School, Search Ministries, and the Carolina Youth Commission, as well as doing volunteer work for several other local and international organizations.
